Version 1.2 / Last modified: June 23, 2022

Protecting the individual’s privacy on the Internet is crucial to the future of Internet-based business and the move toward a true Internet economy. We have created this Privacy Statement to demonstrate our firm commitment to the individual’s right to data protection and privacy. This Privacy Statement outlines how we handle information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify an individual (“Personal Data”).

Collection and Usage of Collected Data

Information that we collect on our Websites

During the first visit to the Website, you can choose whether to use cookies or not. By clicking allow cookies and continuing to use our Website, you agree to the placement of cookies on your computer by our third-party service providers and us, i.e. you give your consent to it.
If you do not wish to accept cookies regarding your use of our Website, you must stop using our Website and disable cookies via your browser settings for this Website or globally. Please note that disabling cookies will affect the functionality of our Website, and may prevent you from being able to access certain features on our Website. For further information about deleting or blocking cookies, please visit:
We hereby inform you that you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. However, withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing done before the withdrawal of the consent.

Google Fonts

Fonts from Google Fonts are used on our site. Google Fonts is a service of Google Inc. ("Google"). The integration of these web fonts takes place by a server call, usually a Google server in the USA. This transmits to the server which of our Internet pages you have visited. The IP address of the visitor is also stored by Google.

CloudWerk (and our web space provider respectively) gather certain information and store it in log files when you interact with our offers. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses as well as browser type, internet service provider, URLs of referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, information you search for, locale and language preferences, identification numbers associated with your devices, and system configuration information. We use the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data at a later date if there is a reasonable suspicion of unlawful use.

Occasionally, we connect personal information to information gathered in our log files as necessary to improve our Websites and Services. In such a case, we would treat the combined information in accordance with this Policy.

Before linking personal data with the aforementioned collected data we shall request your consent to it via e-mail. You have the right to withdraw the given consent the same way you have given it, i.e. by sending an e-mail stating you no longer want your personal data to be linked with the collected data stated above.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google") for statistical purposes. It allows us to see information on user website activities including, but not limited to, page views, sources, and time spent on our website. This information is depersonalized and anonymous, and displayed as numbers, meaning that it cannot be tracked back to individuals.

Data mentioned in this section is used and stored for the entire time until the user decides to turn off this platform. That being said, users may opt out of CloudWerk's use of Google Analytics by visiting Google Analytics opt-out page.

Google AdWords

We use Google AdWords Remarketing to advertise CloudWerk across the Internet and on third-party websites (including Google) for previous visitors to the website. AdWords remarketing will display ads to users based on what parts of the CloudWerk website they have viewed, by placing a cookie on the users’ web browser. It could mean that CloudWerk advertises to previous visitors who have not completed a task on the site, or this could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page or a site in the Google Display Network. This cookie does not in any way identify the user or give access to the user's computer or mobile device. The cookie is only used to indicate to other websites that the user has visited a page on the website, so that they may show the user ads relating to the visited page. If users do not wish to participate in Google AdWords Remarketing, they can opt-out by visiting Google's Ads Preferences Manager.
